Join master photographer Gary Crabbe and grab your camera and let’s go explore the beaches of Point Reyes National Seashore in this great photo workshop. Along the way, you’ll learn many tips and tricks aimed at helping you improve your photographic vision. If you have a passion for the ocean, beaches, rocks, waves, and dunes, and you love capturing them through the lens of your camera, you’ll love this class. From dawn to dusk and beyond, from low tides to high tides, from sandy shorelines and rocky coves, we’ll pack plenty of variety into our field excursions. In addition, there will be both in-field photo demonstrations and classroom presentations designed to help you create those stunning images of a wonderfully special place. This workshop is set to coincide with both minus tides and a full moon, which should make for some exceptional photographic opportunities. Photographers of all skill levels from amateur to experienced are welcome, but will especially well-suited to those seeking a better understanding of using their equipment or refining skills to help you see a better photo while in the field. The workshop will conclude with a group photo review and critique. Accomodations included at the Historic Lifeboat Station.
