Blanca is an advisor and consultant on Change Management, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Marketing, and Outreach Strategies.  Prior to that, she was the Director of Technology Adoption at Bio-Rad Laboratories where she founded their Organizational Change Management practice, driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives globally.  During her 20 year career in the Life Science industry she held leadership positions in Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Change Management, and Technology Adoption.  A proud alumna of Richmond public schools, Blanca also studied Chemical Engineering at UCLA and subsequently Liberal Arts at John F. Kennedy University.  She participated in the first cohort of Bio-Rad’s Executive MBA Certificate Program from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and most recently completed an Executive Certification in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.  Blanca has loved the outdoors since childhood, partly because as the oldest of 6 siblings, it was the only place she could find peace and quiet while growing up!  As a young adult, she was introduced to Point Reyes by her then-boyfriend, now-husband, with whom she lives in the East Bay.  Together they have embraced the West Marin coast for over 25 years, finding personal and professional inspiration and physical and spiritual healing by way of hiking and gastronomic adventures.  She is a native Spanish and English speaker and comfortable toasting in French and Italian.
