Colleen Herr has always had a deep love and appreciation for nature, finding the interconnectedness between the smallest organism to its larger environment (and all the steps in-between) fascinating. Her love of nature led her to Humboldt State University where she graduated with a degree in Wildlife Management and Conservation, and a minor in Ecological Restoration. After college, Colleen found her way into the habitat restoration field, where she feels she can make lasting impacts at the ecosystem level. She has been hopping between seasonal field jobs for the past four years and has had amazing experiences working throughout San Francisco, Marin, Colorado, Monterey, and Joshua Tree. Colleen began her next outdoor work adventure with PRNSA in May 2022. Colleen is excited to help in the restoration, conservation, and protection of natural resources in efforts to support the stunning natural diversity throughout Point Reyes.
