Michelle Sarti

Michelle is a Marin native with an avid love and enthusiasm for the outdoors and West Marin. A part-time resident of Inverness, she lives in Kentfield with her husband Ed and their three children Edward, Roan and Eve.  Michelle brings relevant Board and legal experience to PRNSA.  She recently served as Chair of the Board for the Mount Tamalpais School and, from 2006-2016, served on the Board of Trustees and Advisory Board for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) based in Lander, Wyoming. While on the Board at NOLS, Michelle was Chair of the Governance Committee, Development Committee, and Strategic Initiatives Committees. During her legal career from 1997-2001, she worked as in-house counsel for Syufy Enterprises/Century Theatres and handled real-estate transactions and slip-and-fall cases. She also had a brief stint as a criminal prosecutor working as an Assistant District Attorney for Contra Costa County.   Michelle received her B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco.
