In 2019, I completed my B.S. in Rangeland Resource Science with a focus in Wildland Soils and Botany at Humboldt State University. Since then, I have enjoyed the experience working in conservation as a trailcrew member at Prairie Creek State Park and later as a Range and Restoration Technician at the Mojave National Preserve. At the end of my season in the Mojave desert I felt drawn back to the coast to be closer to my family, pup, and friends, so having this opportunity to work in the field I love and near those I love fills me with excitement for this season’s experiences.
