Tara Blake

Tara hails from Columbus, Ohio and earned her B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. While exploring many facets of the conservation world, including sustainable agriculture, parks and recreation, hydrology, and serving two years in the Peace Corps as an Agroforestry Volunteer, she fell into the world of fisheries. Tara spent a year at Point Reyes as an Americorps Service Member in the Watershed Stewards Program where she was a crew member on the Coho and Steelhead Monitoring Program. She is excited to continue supporting the park’s inventory and monitoring efforts of the creeks and local fish populations, now as a Field Assistant with PRNSA.
