Biret Adden

Grateful to have grown up in the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz mountains, Biret has a deep appreciation for the natural world and a love for California’s diverse environments. With 12 years of experience managing environmental education programs and many years spent as a Girl Scout leader and classroom volunteer, Biret is committed to helping children and adults connect to the natural world through positive outdoor experiences. A background in plant science also inspires her passion for native plant conservation and restoration, and she has a particular fondness for wetlands. Biret holds a BS in Botany from McMaster University and an M.A. in Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University in Canada. She is excited to continue learning and sharing about this beautiful region as she puts down her own new roots in West Marin.
