How to Make a Gift of Stock
- Please notify your broker that you are making a charitable gift of stock to Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA). Our tax identification number is 94-2228894.
- Please notify Heather Clapp (heatherc@ptreyes.org) that you are making a charitable gift of stock to Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA), and please include the name of the stock you are gifting. We want to make sure of timely attribution of your generous donation.
Instruct your broker to transfer the stock into PRNSA’s Morgan Stanley account:

IRA Charitable Donation
If you are 72 years old or older, support Point Reyes and receive tax benefits with a gift from your IRA (individual retirement account). Through an IRA Charitable Donation, you can give any amount directly to a qualified charity such as ours without having to pay income taxes on the money. This popular gift option may also count toward your required minimum distribution!

Donor Advised Fund
A Donor Advised Fund, also known as a DAF, is a simple and flexible tax-advantageous way to support Point Reyes National Seashore. DAFs are increasing in popularity as they are one of the easiest and most tax-advantageous ways to give to charity.
