Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA) recognizes that we are only as strong as our community. Like a mighty taproot, our community keeps us grounded and equipped to bear the strongest storms. When we come together, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.
From our Annual Dinner on the Pacific Plate fundraiser to community classes, webinars, and volunteer days, our favorite memories include you and your family. National Parks are for everyone and your participation is paramount in preserving and protecting the places we love.
Building Community
Full Moon Monthly Membership Hikes
Join us each month as we explore the seashore at dusk under a full moon. Members unite and enjoy features only found in the night. We appreciate the support of our members and are excited to offer them this special program.
JEDI and Partnerships
Throughout the year, PRNSA hosts a variety of community classes, family events, membership hikes, habitat restoration projects, and volunteer days. We know we can accomplish more when we work together. We partner with the National Park Service to create opportunities for all people to experience, enhance, and preserve Point Reyes National Seashore for present and future generations. Through strategic partnerships and a Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion lens, we’ve been able to grow and continue our mission.
Youth in Parks
Youth in Parks (YIP) is a partnership between Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA) and local Bay Area nonprofit organizations focused on community building and mentorship primarily in Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and low-income communities. YIP allows us to reshape accessibility for all by offering environmental experiences at the Seashore for youth who have historically been underrepresented in public lands, and who are disproportionately impacted by environmental and social inequalities.Upcoming Programs & Events
