Mariella Long

Growing up in Southern California, Mariella had the privilege of being surrounded by the mountains, beaches, deserts and trails which helped shape her passion for the outdoors. She received her B.A in Sociology at Cal State San Bernardino, which strengthened her commitment to creating accessible opportunities for everyone to experience nature. Mariella’s background in accounting has been enriched through her work with organizations such as The Crafton Hills Foundation, which helps provide scholarships for two-year college students, and The Wildlands Conservancy, the largest private nonprofit nature preserve system on the West Coast. In both of these roles she supported programs and staff and is thrilled to collaborate with the PRNSA team to create opportunities for the community to connect with the Seashore.
