Susan Oertel

Susan’s passion for managing niche retail businesses has happily brought her to PRNSA to manage the three Retail Stores located at the Visitor Centers throughout the park. Susan has made retail her lifelong career choice and especially enjoys improving customer experience, creating engaging displays, and optimizing internal processes such as inventory management and operations. Born and raised in Petaluma, CA, Susan moved to Sacramento to complete her college education at CSU Sacramento, from which she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree. After raising two sons and managing several retail businesses in Sacramento, Susan is extremely grateful to be back in Sonoma County, close to the ocean and beaches she grew up on, and to be a part of such a wonderful association and park.
