Yensing is a seasoned leader in the San Francisco non-profit sector, with an extensive passion for early childhood education, family support, and community organizing. She is the Executive Director of Family Connections Centers, family resource and education centers serving children and families through a comprehensive continuum of community-driven, multilingual programs. Her north star is working in partnership and service of communities where children and families can thrive, including equitable access to outdoor play and nature environments. Yensing is active on community and service agencies’ boards and committees, including the Family Resource Center Alliance and chairing the San Francisco Child Care Planning & Advisory Council. She first fell in love with Point Reyes as a 6th grader on a field trip from the Tenderloin. When she is not running around San Francisco, she and her partner are often kayaking or hiking through the Bay.
