August Full Moon Member Hike
July 29, 2023Welcome to Summer in Point Reyes, where the sun hangs high in the sky waiting to welcome the moon. Just like sunset, our full moon hikes start at a later time this season (7:00pm) to allow you time to experience the moon. The moon will be at its fullest on Tuesday, August 1st, but we will gather on Saturday, July 29th. The hike will go at a leisurely pace along the Estero Trail for a total of approximately 4.5 to 5 miles. Along the way, we’ll take time to explore the role of water in ecosystems and the estero’s significance throughout time.
We appreciate the support of our members and are excited to offer them this special program. All members allowed up to two guests (guest can be non-members). All ages are welcome.
