Jim is a nature finance specialist, with 19 years of experience working in sustainable land use and conservation. He is the co-founder of Terranomics, an international consultancy that seeks to scale up public-private collaboration and investment in nature, and was previously an assistant director at PwC, where he led the Sustainable Land-Use Team. He was the Chairman of the international youth enterprise NGO Teach A Man To Fish from 2013-2023, and volunteers with City Surf Project, where he has seen the transformative impact regular contact with nature can have for people’s wellbeing. Jim is motivated to help improve the accessibility of one of the country’s most unique and valuable protected areas for people from all backgrounds across the Bay Area.
