Join us for a complimentary talk with author and oceanographer Kim McCoy as he dives into the fascinating world of sand, surf, and waves. Explore how climate change is affecting coastal dynamics, watersheds, sediment and marine life. Kim will give a compelling presentation from the Ken Patrick Visitor’s Center at Drakes Beach. The presentation will include two segments: a BIG picture view (changing climate patterns, watersheds and sediments), and a LOCAL view (specific to the Point Reyes area).

Interested attendees can also purchase a signed copy of the book and a guided beach walk with Kim following the presentation, to illustrate his lessons in a real world setting. This event is for anyone who appreciates the sea. Coffee and snacks provided!
