Alejandro comes from the San Diego border region, whose sunny skies and shrubby hillsides he knows as home. With a degree in ecology from the University of California, Irvine, Alejandro spent some time as a researcher and found himself in North Dakota by the time he realized he wanted to change things up. After a short stint bird banding in Point Reyes, Alejandro made his way back down to Southern California before the allure or the North Bay called him back up again. He’s taken on the role of bilingual environmental educator, where he hopes to inspire curiosity and a connection to nature with the public.
