Allie Rigby is a San Francisco Bay Area poet and letterpress artist whose work explores mental health, socio-environmental connections, and articulations of place. Her poetry is published in Manzano Mountain Review, Parenthesis Journal, PostScript Magazine, Cholla Needles, Visitant Lit, Living on Earth Radio, and more. Many of her poems start from observations around the mundane and expand into philosophical negotiations around agency, hope, and fate.
In 2020, Allie was accepted into the Shuffle Literary Arts Residency. Since then, she has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and a Best of the Net Prize. While in her seventh year of teaching environmental education, Allie is finishing her MA in English: Creative Writing at San Francisco State University, where she received the William Dickey Fellowship for her poetry. When not writing or reading, Allie loves playing with the art of letterpress and connecting with people over podcasts. Her website is www.allierigby.com, and she is also on Twitter at @RigbyAllie.
