Ashley (she/her) has resided in West Marin since 2020, but has loved these lush lands and salty waters since dipping her toes into the Tomales Bay for the first time at age two. Growing up in the Bay Area, the redwood forest became Ashley’s first teacher, sparking a curiosity that led her to study environmental education, natural history, and agroecology at UC Santa Cruz, where she earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies. Ashley joined PRNSA in 2024, bringing 15 years of experience creating opportunities for youth and adults to immerse themselves in the natural world as a wilderness guide, educator, facilitator, and medic. Her work is rooted in reconnecting people with the land, building inclusive communities, and nurturing spaces for wonder and discovery. Before bringing her talents to PRNSA, Ashley worked for many small businesses and community members in West Marin, weaving a web of relationships sourced in reciprocity, collaboration, and care. She is a deep listener, storycatcher, and advocate for healing and equity.
