Bill Manheim

Bill is a resident of Marshall, where he relocated full-time during the pandemic. As the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Operations at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), he leads the law department’s electric and gas operations, rates, environment and land, and strategy and policy groups.  The park has been a favorite recreational spot since the 1980s and a place where he  feels a quiet calm, a dropping of the weight of daily life, peacefulness and joy. Bill believes in the importance of inclusion and the healing power of nature. He serves as a board member and riding support volunteer for Halleck Creek Ranch, a nonprofit organization in Nicasio that offers equine-assisted therapeutic programming for young people with disabilities to access the benefits of time in nature. Bill holds a bachelor’s degree from American University, School of International Service and a law degree from University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
