Heather joined PRNSA in 2019 and, as Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement, is proud to work alongside a fantastic team to advance the organization’s fundraising strategy. Before PRNSA, she co-managed two East Bay restaurants while volunteering in Piedmont and Bolinas schools to deepen environmental, place-based learning for K–12 students. She co-founded Piedmont Connect, a grassroots organization working to move schools and the broader community away from fossil fuels. She holds a B.A. in Economics and French from Albion College, and believes in the power of public lands to connect people to place, to the more-than-human world, and to themselves.
