Kai Nittenberg

Growing up locally in San Rafael, Kai developed an interest in conservation and ecology through his love of the Bay Area’s natural systems. While earning a degree in Environmental Sciences from UC Berkeley, Kai explored approaches to environmental resiliency, completing an undergraduate thesis evaluating the nitrogen fertilization potential of human hair. He is very excited to continue spending time exploring Point Reyes’ ecological diversity while working to protect its natural resources.
