Hike with PRNSA
The year-round Mediterranean climate of Point Reyes National Seashore allows for a variety of ecosystem types to flourish in our park. From wetlands to grasslands to coastal dunes, our Picnic on the Pacific Plate hikes, tours, and talks will provide you the opportunity to explore a key habitat or culturally significant location in our park with the guidance of seasoned naturalists and park staff. The eight hikes this year are open to all attendees, regardless of sponsorship level. So pick your favorite ecosystem, or the one that you find most intriguing, and discover the wonders of Point Reyes from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
All hikers must show proof of vaccination and we ask that all hikers arrive 15 minutes early to allow for a slightly extended check-in time. Please visit our Picnic on the Pacific Plate Covid Safety webpage for details.
